Mar Adentro Sea Inside (A. Amenábar, 2004)

Soldados de Salamina (D. Trueba, 2002)
A writer comes to terms with her own life as she uncovers the incredible story of a Spanish Civil War fascist writer. Winner, Best Cinematography at the 2002 Goya Awards; with 7 Goya nominations.
Planta 4a Fourth Floor (A. Mercero, 2004)
A bittersweet tale about adolescent cancer patients; this film soars on the excellent performance of its young cast. Nominee for Best Film, Goya Awards.
Te doy mis ojos Take my Eyes (I. Bollaín, 2004)
Complex characters face issues of domestic violence. An uncommonly perceptive drama. Winner: Best Director, Best Film, Best Actor, and Best Screenplay at the 2004 Goya Awards. (for adults only)
Torremolinos 73 (P. Berger, 2003)

El Abrazo Partido (D. Burman, 2004)
A charming comedy about Jewish life in Argentina and a man’s inability to forgive an absent father. Winner at the Berlin International Film Festival and Bangkok World Film Festival.
La Buena Estrella (R. Franco, 1997)
A middle-aged butcher takes in a one-eyed woman as his charge. His life takes on a different turn from there. Winner of 5 Goya Awards including Best Film and Best Director. (for adults only)
Los Lunes Al Sol Mondays in the Sun (F. León, 2002)
The story of those with no job, whose days are a constant Sunday. This film won the Golden Shell at the San Sebastian Film Festival and achieved 5 Goya Awards; Best Film and Best Director among them.
El Bola (A. Mañas, 2000)
A magnificent drama about the life of a battered child. Winner of 25 Spanish and International Prizes, among them 4 Goya Awards including Best Film and Best Actor.
Tesis Thesis (A. Amenábar, 1996)
Open your eyes, not to violence, but to what it means. Considered the first commercial success by the acclaimed director of Mar Adentro. Won the 1997 Goya Awards for Best Film and Best New Director. (for adults only)
